What happens to the e-waste then?
After drop off recycled, the life cycle of electronics continues. Electronic devices go through a stage of information destruction, then undergo diagnostics and repair. In order to return to working condition for new users. As you know, some devices can repeat the cycle 6 or more times. If the devices are broken or damaged, we use their parts for restoration and repair. In the third stage, components of the boards are removed from the devices, plastic and metal are suitable for subsequent recycling.
As a rule, 99.9% of electronics in one form or another return as working devices or materials for the production of new ones. You can be sure that your devices will have a long life, even if they are disposable like alkaline batteries.
